Parent Circle

The John Brown University Parent Circle is a group of committed parents whose children are currently enrolled at JBU or have attended the university in the past. Members commit to support JBU in three ways:

  1. Pray regularly for JBU
  2. Promote JBU’s mission
  3. Give a minimum, unrestricted gift of $500 or more annually to the JBU Scholarship Fund

Step into the Circle

The true cost of a JBU education is approximately $4,000 more than the published tuition/room and board. The JBU Subsidy of $4,000 exists because most of the buildings on campus are paid for through generous donations, and because the endowment and annual gifts to the university help to offset the annual cost of a JBU education. So while the sticker price is $24,646, the actual cost of a JBU education is closer to $28,646.

The Parent Circle is a great way for parents and grandparents of current and former students to directly support JBU, which furthers the JBU subsidy referenced above.

Upon becoming a member of the Parent Circle, you will recieve:

  • A framed certificate recognizing your membership
  • A quarterly newsletter updating you on JBU news and events
  • The blessing of knowing you’re helping JBU Students
